Christmas Traditions
About the project
The project targets 13-14 years old students. The working
language is English. The duration of the project is 4 weeks. The aims of the
project are to increase students' curiosity and interest in Christmas
traditions, to stimulate their wish to learn about the traditions in the other
country, to encourage students to learn Christmas songs or carols
Aims
To raise awareness and appreciation of Christmas traditions.
To help students to understand that traditions are very important and
can vary or be the same in different countries.
To promote communication between cultures.
Work process
Students exchange information about Christmas traditions.
1. Students look for information on the topic and create Power Point
presentation to 16th December.
2. Share the presentations 16th - 23rd December.
3. The recording of a Christmas song or carol performed by students to
23rd December.
Expected results
To produce Power Point presentations about Christmas traditions.
To learn about Christmas traditions in partner's country.
To learn a simple Christmas song or carol and sing it to the partners.
